Mr. Russell isn't a native of the 12th district and failed to get the required number of 'legal' signatures necessary to appear on the ballot. Amazingly, two Republicans had the gumption to question the validity of Russell's signatures. Is there a message in there?
Congressman Murtha might not be everyone's idea of the perfect politician, but he supports the troops rather than KBR, brings home the pork and represents the electorate in his district ala Tom Delay... Get over it.

1) Murtha doesn't support the troops - he falsely accused them of murder in Haditha. He defames the troops.
2) Pork is bad.
3) It doesn't matter whether someone is a "native" of the district. Hillary Clinton is not a "native" of New York. You didn't complain about that.
Just because someone brings home pork doesn't mean he should be immune from a challenge on the ballot. That sounds more like dictatorship.
