That is exactly what I thought. Thanks for reminding me how old I am.

My thought too. Old age must be sitting on my shoulders like the great grey cardigan of life.

Could have been worse. We could have thought "Oh no! Not Yusuf Islam!"

You know you're getting old when you follow the link and think "Who is Rachel Stephens?"

Hello and welcome, Capability Bowes. I was in a meeting last week and it was all I could do not to emulate a High Court judge and say "Who are the Jonas Brothers?"
Brennig - I am liking "the great grey cardigan of life" very much.

That meeting, by the way, was about music on children's television. I wasn't just asking random questions of people.

I was incredibly, incredibly bored at work yesterday. Not my fault - but I had absolutely nothing to do. Not a sausage. I asked around for stuff to do, but no dice (or sausages). So I read your entire blog, from your first posting onwards. Right to this one.
I acheived nothing - but I did laugh an awful lot.
Please give me more to read.

Hello and welcome, Exit, Pursued by a Bear. That is great for me to hear, but perhaps rather worrying for you redundancy-wise.
I think it all peaked with Bathmatwatch, but I shall carry on - just as soon as the weather breaks...

No, no, you misunderstand. I was AT work. I had nothing to do there. I do contract work. So, whether I actually do anything or not, as long as I'm in the building, they have to pay me. If they're not generating any work for me to do, that's their problem.
That was a great booking. I caught up with all my personal correspondence, did a shed load of research on further possibilities for freelance work and read a LOT of stuff on the internet. I think I actually "worked" for an average 3/4 an hour a day.
oh, and BTW, me and Capability Bowes are the same person. He's my freelancing hat, and I'm my theatre review blog. Its like having a secret identity.
Damn, I just blew my cover.
