This whole sketch was written just so you could write, "You're sired!" wasn't it?

Mr Angry - Bizarrely, no, even though it is the most obvious pun that has been made many times before. It was more based around the Empire Strikes Back reference. Which, again, is obvious and has been done many times before.

At this point, I'd love to see Margaret pull out a machete and lay into Sophocles to prevent Surralan changing his will in favour of Sophocles, thus displacing Margaret's illegitimate child by him.
You just know she's got a dress hidden away that never made it to the dry cleaners.

I heard someone talking about Margaret recently (someone funny, possibly on a podcast, but can't remember who), saying that she bore a striking resemblence to Father Ted.
Now every time I look at her all I see is Father Ted. It's unnerving.

Yes - Michael Sophocles (heavy breathing) - I am your father!
Noooo that's impossible!
(Heavy breathing) Join us - Michael!
Michael Sophocles should know that going over to the dark side - well - leads to the creation of an evil empire.
