Dear Sam:
Thanks for your comments on Sam Storms's "Convergence." I went to the Kansas City Fellowship at which he was one of the pastors and President of the Grace Training Center for about ten years and also heard Jack Deere and other Vineyard ministers. Sadly I finally left because the devotion to Biblical authority became eclipsed by the charismata and my never having pastoral care finally caught up with me. Perhaps it was foolish since I've never really had any since, even on a small group level, but God is sovereign and has kept me.
How sad that cessationists are trapped in their position mostly by a web of fear and pride Sam mentions that hinders all believers were the truth to be told. Thanks God for His Irresistible grace; may it soon explode the little box in which most have imprisoned their God!
