Gravatar No, Moleskines are "designed in Italy" but are made in China.

See these for fetish notebooks, made in Spanin: http://www.miquelrius.com/swf/index.htm

Gravatar NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

"Printed and bound in China - Designed and assembled in Italy."

I'll spare you the explicative that I just uttered.

Gravatar Oh Stephanie. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Gravatar Oh, you're not, Anne P. I can tell....

I'm just going to have to write really really really small on the ones that I already have!

Gravatar Well, you still have the hPDA. I do my own version of it with paper in a memo binder, not index cards.

Gravatar Do you cut the paper to the size of index cards, Scott? I like that I can put the hPDA in my pocket, but I could certainly do it with recycled paper cut to size rather than index cards....

Gravatar Actually, I cut the paper to the size of memo book paper: 3.75x6.5 inches, I think off hand. I could buy memo book paper, but this way I reuse half-printed bits. I also have a six-hole punch in case I actually want to put it in my memo book.

(I like writing "memo book.")

Gravatar "Memo book" has a nice sense of assonance...

And I liked those spanish notebooks, btw, though I like your new finding better.

Gravatar OOOO, I've discovered new notebooks, Stephanie. Please tell me these are not made in China. Warning: they are unlined, but so lovely. I was thinking it'd be great to use one per workshop, per trip, per experience, per project, so that you can label the outside and not mix the work up with your regular journaling.

Gravatar Those are awesome, Pia. And they do say Made in Italy. I can't vouch for whether they mean it or not, but did you order them? And, if so, can you report back?

I like the idea of keeping different types of journals separate too. Workshop notes are different than morning pages, etc.
