I definitely feel for you. We had a stomach bug about a week or so ago that went through the whole family. We all took turns on the toilet.hehe. Fun, fun. My husband is currently puking; I feel really bad for him; just started last night. Which means of course, I don't get much sleep (i can hear it all....yuck)and I will probably need to run out and get him some "feel better" meds soon.
I hope your family is doing better and you are feeling good. Hubby works the 7pm-7:30 am shift, so I know what you mean. Have a great day...at least better than yesterday.

Just call me Mr. Mom.
With the wife down, I tried to make things as easy as I could for her. I didn't want her to get better and have a house that looks like it exploded.
So, I kept the laundry up, doing all the laundry, which I needed to do regardless because of puked on sheets and blankets.
Dishes were kept up, (not like many were eating much though), garbage out, house cleaned up, bathroom cleaned and disinfected...
I want my wife to get better, not groan and wanna die after seeing all the stuff she would have to clean up and do if I didn't help.
Harder part was keeping a quick bowl underneath my daughter when she couldn't make it to the bathroom to throw up. This continued all through the night till around 5am, where it became an arguement because she didn't want to sleep anymore...
I got her back to sleep and she woke back up again at 9:30am and feeling much better. She kept down the sips of water I was giving her. Then she kept down the pedialite I gave her...so tried her on cinnamon crackers (I didn't have anything else) and she wolfed those down before I could check back with her....
So she is feeling better.
The wife is feeling better, just really muscle sore from what she told me.
I think I will have to pamper her next couple of day (I have a couple of days off mon-wed).
What should I do to pamper her?

give them hell sanity!! family comes first and you did the right thing- hope all are feeling better soon? (((HUGS)))P.S. the only puke I got to cleanup this weekend was the little one's- she went for a ride with my dad-and promptly got car sick- the worst part was - dealing with a sick 2 yr old and a gagging 7yr old and a tantrum throwing 69 yr old- sheesh!! Sorry you missed seeing your family!! But that story should make you feel fortunate that they went home- you certainly didn't want them sick too!

That is too funny mom..hehe.
Well, guess what, my 13 yr old daughter was home today with it. So, my husband now one daughter; pray oh pray no one else gets this...yet again.
All I can say is I am glad my hubby is feeling better today. He has been able to eat normal...at least normal for him. I don't consider tacos from taco bell "normal" food. I told him that if he ended up on the toilet again because he ate that crap too quickly then I would have no pity on him...LOL. I am so mean!
You were such a good dad/husband; can you give mine some pointers? Glad everyone is getting better.
