I've been having this same issue since last Tuesday...must be a BE problem that is system wide because I rec'd an email a couple of days ago from the site I was bidding on saying they were having trouble accepting my bid. Wish they would hurry up and fix it!! 
Yeah I feel your pain Jenny.
It also makes me feel that the people who bid, unless they come by and read what I posted here, that they won't trust to rent from me again, because the rentals have been cancelled or expired.
I have tried twice and I won't put any more bidders through the wait and wondering of why I am forgetting about them or just don't like their blogs.
It is out of my control, the only thing I can do is let it expire or cancel the rental all together, since BE won't allow me to accept any renters (timing out each time).
Frustrating.
I have tried to keep from posting for a bit (not hard at the moment since things are not that interesting going on) to try and keep this post at the top so my bidders could see it.
