Ya, its one of my favorite airports!! Free wifi is missing though, unless you sit near the Airline lounge area, then can steal their wifi

ha, ha, now you know about the real Korean hospitality. I have been to Korea more than 12 times and I have been using Korean Air quite often for both international and domestic flights. I even have the frequent flyer card. For domestic flights, I traveled a few times from Seoul to Busan and back and once from Daegu to Seoul.
I really love Korean Air, though SIA and Emirates are equally good as well. But, the service from the Korean flight attendants really awed me.
The most hilarious thing is that each time I traveled with Korean Air, the flight attendants always & always failed to recognize me as a non-Korean. Not even once, they got it right. When they talked to me in Korean, I'd say to them, "Chaesong hamnida, che ga Hanguk saram anieyo!" which means sorry, I'm not a Korean. One of them even exclaimed, "Wow! you really look like a Korean", I just nodded my head and smiled at her.
My Korean language proficiency has become better lately, I could order coffee or water in Korean from the flight attendants and I could manage to understand their inflight announcements in Korean about 75%. They spoke with really heavily accented English; sometimes I couldn't figure out what they're saying and at one time, I thought that really sucked. I'd be more comfortable with Korean version.
But what really attracts me is their charming smile, which makes every male passenger, even stone-hearted ones, melts.
The inflight food is really good. I always ordered beef and lots and lots of wine.
Their inflight magazine, called "Morning Calm" is really thick, a class above that of Malaysia Airlines. The articles are in 3 languages - Korean, English and Japanese. Ahh, I could spend hours flipping the pages.
okay, enough said for now, I'm feeling hungry already..time for dinner. ohh, suddenly I'm craving for kimchi.. Kimchi, Kimchi...yummm....

Nick : yup, we did that too! Actually we didn't steal their wifi, just so happened that all the PCs there were not available, so we sat near the lounge and still managed to get some decent connection!
thomas : hehe, sounds like you had really superb experiences on board the Korean Airlines! i'd dare say they fare much better than our local airline. on my recent flight, i can't help but muse how stuffy our stewardesses look and the partial treatment they give to certain groups of people :/
