Google's Adsense people are very very picky. There is a lot of human review involved, and, naturally, that makes the whole process rather subjective. Unfortunately, they tend to be pretty uptight, too. I know of a case where the webmaster clicked an adsense link once (you know, just to see if everything was working okay) and had his account terminated for that. Canned response to the email he sent and a that's it...


What a bunch of asshats. Boo, Google! Boo!


Gravatar Far too complex? That is so weak, especially if they just looked at the IP addresses of the clickthroughs. How hard would it have been to just say the addresses were identical instead of some BS about algorithms?


Gravatar Much more likely, especially given that it's Google, that they're looking at the IP addresses of the clickthroughs. Same IP address over and over = fake clicks.
