i received the same ticket, with the same approximate speed, and did not go through the sign. i was ready to fight the ticket. still, decided to call a police office friend and asked his opinion. you only have a 5% chance of beating the ticket in court. if the officer shows up, you'll lose and it will be on your record. he skips out (and forgoes the OT), you win. i went to traffic school, because i didn't want it on my record. just saying.
I just wanted to let you know I love your writing. Good luck with traffic court. Your experience definitely has confirmed my hate-driving-so-much-I-don't -even-know-how stance.

That's awesome news - I was scared for a minute that we'd have no more House recaps seeing as you'd be in the Big House and everything, but all is well again and I can get some sleep at night.
