Gravatar Aww, Sara, that blows. Hope you're all right soon!

Gravatar I was going to demand we get a repeat performance when your show hits the East Coast or else I would boycott.

But then you made the Magic Sponge reference, so all is forgiven. Between that and the Magic Spray, no man can stay injured.

Hope your next performance goes a little more according to plan (as much as improv has a plan) and with less knee-to-nose contact.

Gravatar I will add that the show was very funny otherwise, although I would have liked to have seen Sara's cool-kid-guide character a bit more fully developed ... you know, before bleeding all over the place.

Gravatar Yow! That is not a pretty story. I can't believe none but Pam swooped to your rescue! It would serve the others right to slip on your blood, and fall into the crowd and, I don't know, split their pants in the face of the improv teacher. Then again, it sounds like her probably would be all, 'Okay, interesting choice.'

Gravatar delurking just to say, Pamie is right. They didn't need to stop the whole show or anything but ONE other person, or the director, or someone could have taken five minutes to make sure you were ok. I'm a stagehand, and we live by the "rub some dirt in it, play through the pain" school but I would have dropped everything for someone with an injury like that.

Gravatar Ow! I hope you're okay. And Pam is right -- I can't believe your teacher stopped you to give you NOTES when you were bleeding all over the place. We're coming this week, so I hope you're healed enough to perform. Otherwise I'm walking out on those jerks.

Gravatar if it makes you feel any better i have turned my on stage nose accident [very similar in blood gushing etc] into a great party story. plus you have improv experience so can you imagine how many boring cocktail parties you can shake up with that story? trust me it'll be funnier once the nose in question starts to look better.

p.s. doesn't hurt to get it checked out, an incompatant er doctor told me it wasn't broken regardless of the piece of bone sticking out the side. if the swelling persists it wouldn't hurt to have some x-rays.
