After I ordered one last week I realized it wasn't on the menu. But nobody mentioned it so think of it as one of those "cool l.a. order off-the-menu" things.

Just order it anyway. As long as they have the ingredients they will make any old smoothies and even smoothies that never made the menu, like Pink Star and White Gummy Bear.
In Canada (I start every sentence that way), it's called Orange Julius. And it's in the mall.

I think it's pretty recent, too. I just went to the one on Melrose and just stood staring at the reduced menu, slackjawed. I want my goddamned Berry Lime Sublime!
I was going to post the same thing. The Orange Berry Blitz hasn't been on the menu for at least a year, but I order it all the time. See also Berry Lime Sublime.
I hate Bobby McFerrin, so I won't quote him, but the sentiment still works.
You can always order "off the menu" items from Jamba; even though they've replaced them on the board with new açai taste treats (the same Brazilian wonderberry hawked by the "MonaVie" people (the new NuSkin)). I still order the old "Orchard Oasis" -- which you probably wouldn't like -- or the "Pacific Passion" -- which you probably would. (Better than its replacement, the "Caribbean Passion," btw.) So keep on enjoying your old faves ... and look über-cool doing it, to boot.
