There not to bad. Although you are an american, so you get to pay for the privelege of hanging in a tube for an hour. I've had like 10 in my 13 years on this planet (lets go universal healht care!) and my head is yet to explode. Although once they injected some radiocative chemicals into my bones which felt r e a l l y great, and then I turned out being alergic to the radioactive stuff and they had to put me on oxygen. SO in tht cas eit was an MRI of DOOOM. I'm sure that little story made youfeel so much better.

Ha - I knew before clicking the link that it had to be from House.
I can tell you from having an MRI done on my knee in December of last year, that it really isn't that bad and if you've never had one before, the knee is a good place to start b/c you don't have to go all the way in the machine. Just be prepared that it will be very, very loud with lots of grinding and screeching noises.
Now, if you already knew all of this then nevermind and good luck. Hope it isn't something as serious as a torn ACL, but instead something nicer, like a meniscus issue!
