Wow, this only confirms my suspicions that TWC is run by complete morons. We haven't had wireless internet connection for months! We've had five to six techinicians come in and check it out. They claimed it was our router, and we bought a new one. Still nothing. We borrowed one from a neighbor, still nothing. Finally, today, we spoke to yet another customer service agent who told us that no wonder we were having problems, we had been wired for "desktop only" internet the whole time. This is, of course, despite the fact that we never have had a desktop computer and specifically have called regarding our WIRELESS service. To make matters even better, they aren't even giving us any money back but instead doing a free re-installation. (duh!) We are still trying to get some credit, but so far, nothing!
Well, good luck with your problems. Maybe ask if you are wired for wireless? (HEH! Wired for wireless!) This is the first I've ever heard of there being a difference with desktop and wireless internet setups from a modem level but there you go. Perhaps you are experiencing the same thing?
Is there some sort of web-wide TWC protest that we can put into place! These people seriously suck!
Might I ask what kind of puppet show the hot guy does?
