Packet has that "lady, I am totally ignoring you" pose. Perhaps she is jealous because the socks are not for her?
Also, I am beginning to think that your lace luchadora status was all a lie. Pi shawl AND two pair of Hedera? Lace is so totally your bitch now.
Pretty!

It's particularly embarassing watching England when you consider that few of them are earning less than £1million a year for their "expertise". Money well spent?

Gooosh, I enjoyed your soccer- and hockey impressions so much, a true fan indeed, let me give you a huge hug!!! Agree with you on most of the soccer thoughts, especially about that unbelievable ref! Perhaps he's one of those poker players, hanging in casinos all the time, and thought he'd have to do a bit more card playing on the field? What a nuthead! Like you, I've been way disappointed with the "big" soccer countries, except Argentina that is, all the other so-called "favorites" were more or less ridiculous. Wonder if that'll change now?
And tonight's THE game, hallelujah! I'll stay up from 2 to 5 am watching it live, I couldn't sleep for the life of me! GO OILERS! I think Markonnen's worth a couple ten thousand bucks more after this final series - he got his chance and boy, did he use it! I'm deeply impressed! GO OILERS!!
Hey, knitting content too! Packet's probably the cutest model I've ever seen, that baby pic is sooo sweet! And your socks are amazing, what an awesome pattern! Sports watching is perfect for knitting, isn't it? Though I doubt either of us will be able to knit during the game tonight - I know I won't be!

The Dutch team wear orange because Prince William of Orange led their fight for independence from Spain - the Orange are still their royal family to this day. As the Dutch shout to cheer their team on, "Hop Holland Hop!"
