love the cabled hat. please write the pattern that way for those of us who love to cable but are too lazy to figure out our own version of this adorable cap!

I SO am a yarn sniffer, too. And beads. And Barbie feet.

I love your site and your patterns, and am glad to have found you again. I followed you here a few weeks ago from Knit and Tonic when you left a comment there. But I forgot to bookmark you. And I tried googling via patterns but there are way too many. I finally went archive diving.

Caption. The hat.

The hat is beautiful! Can't wait to see what name it ends up with. A great Red entry for Project Spectrum!

I'm so interested to hear about your love for summer tweed. I just read the Knitter's Review for it and it sounded so crazy, kind of like knitting paper or something. I'm pretty into All Seasons Cotton right now and since it's the same gauge as summer tweed, I'm thinking about getting the pattern book from Rowan.

Ooh, I love this hat!!! I love your sweet site! I found your site through the black purl mag website

I am going to add you to my blog roll if you don't mind, also I was wondering, I have a ring, called SistahFriend Knitting Ring, and I would love for you to join- I want to have a lot of strong women of color blogs in my ring, so this is a formal invite! Here is the link:

Hope to see you there!

Sweet hat! I'd definitely use a pattern, if you post it.

"Rasberry beret, I think I looove you!"

can't wait to see glimmmmer!

Hi Sauniell -- it's Jackie from Thursday night SnB. Love the cable pattern on your hat! Did you sketch it first, or did you just knit it by instinct? It's really neat.

I like McGlinty. I think it looks Scottish.

For some reason, I thought of Omega.

Love the cable hat. How about naming it Red Ravin?

Love the hat - can't wait for the pattern!

yeah, they would think you were crazy. Especially if they saw how you were sniffing that yarn last night...and would out of nowhere sing your praises to the yarn.

I must admit, it does have a wonderful fibery smell to it.

They need to make a Summer Tweed air freshener especially for you.
