Great to hear from you! Try plastic circular needles with tips on them. The security guard SNATCHED my metal circulars out of a project in Manhattan Court, claiming they were a weapon. |

My experience of jury duty was hours on end sitting waiting to be selected, and only a couple of days in the courtroom. We were allowed to do pretty much as we liked in the waiting room, although I'm talking about London here, not NYC! |

They will not let you go into the courtroom with those pointy sticks (considered as possible weapons). Love the shawl. |

I got a summons too! UGH. I HOPE I can take my knitting!! |
|
Girl, I don't think they let me knit in the courtroom when I had jury duty! |

I am so happy that you found a new apartment. I am curious to knoe where it is. Are you closer to Brooklyn??? |
|
Glad your moving! I was going to tell you the same thing about jury duty. Maybe bamboo or circulars would be more palatable to them. Isn't a ball point pen sharper? |

Glad you finished the shawl for Mamacita. Such a pretty shawl pattern. I don't know what you mean about homely lace. There is so much lace out there now that is fierce. You don't have to stick to the old-fashioned lace. And you could always make what is old new again. Good luck with the new apartment. |

So good to hear from you! And I am super happy for you that you are moving to another apartmen! YAH! |

Nice shawl...better check about jury duty. Knitting needles were not allowed when I went a few months ago although you can bring a crochet hook. |
