'One Hundred Years of Solitude' is on my summer reading list also.
I'm waiting for 'I Was Told There Would Be Cake' to arrive from Amazon. I saw an interview with the author on Titlepage.tv and have been wanting to read it ever since.
The only problem is knitting and reading don't mesh so well for me and I hate having to choose.

I completed my finals yesterday and hope to begin reading "Uncle Tom's Cabin" tomorrow.

Classic literature makes such great summer reading!

I had the idea of reading the classics either last summer or the summer prior... Yeah, I slacked. Good luck. You are quite focused, so I suspect you'll achieve your goal.

I've got a huge backlog of books. I usually just grab what sounds good at the time and read that. I'd like to at least read 2 or 3 books this summer. My reading time goes down a bit during the summer as the kids are out of school.

OOh I can't wait to see F.O.s flying around on your blog this summer!

Mmh reading for me this summer??? I need to get a list together! ;op

The Known World is an Amazing book. I read it a couple of years ago.

Just finished two books:

He's Just Not That Into You & Eat, Pray, Love

Not sure what is next but I love reading.

Glad to see you surviving the end of the school year.

I'm reading Pride and Prejudice right now. After that I'll be reading Little Women and Pearl Cleage's new book. Since I already know what happens in P&P I'll just jump ahead to the Pearl Cleage book when it arrives at my library and finish P&P later. I actually have a huge list of books to check out on my blog so I'll just keep choosing from there.
