Hi! Glad to find a group of late-night-owls with knitting. Thanks to TiVo, this is how I catch up on my favorite reruns of ER and Quantum Leap, etc.

I too spent too much time knitting at night, which is difficult for a morning person. I actually fell asleep the other night, and continued knitting!! I didn't know this was possible. I'm in Vancouver, B.C.

Hi there! The other night I almost got up to knit in the middle of the night - I hope it was just a pre-Xmas fear of not having time to knit everyone's presents...

Is there a better time to knit? I'm in Washington DC where even the air is a bit frantic all day. Then comes Midnight in the Garden of Yarn & Needles.... I do sympathize with Vancouver BC: I've fallen asleep more than once, knitting. Knitting -- the perfect lullaby of the heart. Ahh.

Night time is best for getting things done! Right? In the interests of my roomies' sanity, I stick to knitting during the witching hour instead of building shelves

As a long term insomniac, knitting gives me something to wile away the small hours with.

I am exhausted right now because I had to knit last night, and then I had to take pictures of my knitting, and I had to post some pictures of my knitting, and I had to post an entry to my blog about my knitting, and I had to look at a book and some yarn and plan my future knitting.
Ah, who needs sleep anyhow?!

Yay for other Midnight Knitters. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I ended up on medication that screwed with my sleeping schedule, and with that I knitted in the wee hours of the morning to have something to do (I don't own a TiVo). Now, off those medications, I still find myself awake at night sometimes and then I knit. So, more power to the knitters up and knitting late at night!

OH!! How wonderful to see that I am not the only one knitting in the wee hours of the morning. When I get my hubby off to work, the kids in bed, the dishes done, the toys picked up etc. it is finally time for me - after midnight. I turn on the DVR grab my yarn and get going until my eyes start to roll back. Its great to know there are others knitting with me. Seattle, WA PST
