As for Mumia's current legal battle I recommend that everyone listen to this June 7th interview with William Singletary who was on the scene the night that the cop Daniel Faulkner was shot and killed. Mumia was framed up that night. He was also beaten nearly to death by a gang of vicious thugs - the Philly police - who were chanting "Ramp! Ramp!" as they beat him. James Ramp was another cop that was killed during the MOVE confrontation in 1978.
The cops wanted a nigger, any nigger to hang for Ramp's death. And they picked Mumia to be that nigger.

As someone who spent/wasted nearly a decade of my life supporting Mumia, I can only urge you to do some more research about this man before putting him upon some kind of pedestal.
While people can quibble about the "fairness" of his trial, the fact that he shot Officer Faulkner is clear. That he is the most pronounced spokesperson for a murderous cult is also clear as day.

That's why we call it Vanilla Justice. On this issue, and on many others, you and HusseinObama see eye-to-eye.
That's why we need MUMIA in 2008.
Here's another example: Mumia's the only one of the bunch smart enough to prevent Uncle Sam from starting (and then losing) another genocidal war in Iran just like he has done in Iraq, and Afghanistan.

I always think the results of what America does is much more important than what goes on inside it, to make it so. It seems like a country already doomed to it’s rapid end. But I enjoyed your blog and got some learning from it. And the idea of Mumia for president is a warm thought, what if, if only. How interesting that could be. But I don’t believe in miracles for America, the dream is dead, it was never so.

Being From Philly I can tell you that while there are some very interesting things on this web site mumia is not one of them- when the hoolywood crowd and the french jump on a band wagon it is usually a warning sound- reading the actual transcripts of the trial and actaully talking to people in philly- Mumia is a cop killer- If he has tried to better himself in prison and be a better person in spite of his past than good for him he is growing. But the fact is he is a cop killer- his fate should have been finised a long time ago for his crime. the faulkner family's fate was fixed the night he killed Daniel Faulkner- What blogs and grass root movements do they have. Nothing compared to mumia- I am sorry that so many people have put there collective heads up there butts and ignored the fact and gotten together to sing cumbauya and all is well with the world and lets save mumia. You have some good stuff on this website thats calls for some good discussion and good results stop blowing it all with trying to save a confessed cop killer

His biggest claim to fame/infamy is that he almost certainly killed a cop and writes often confusing political narratives.
