Forgiveness is not forgetting.
As a Jew, I understand this completely.
I won't even post about one of the best, and certainly one of the most significant times in my life - the year I spent in Israel. I just don't want the trouble I'd be inviting.
Are you serious about the Googling = red flag=Internet Connection being shut down or was that an unwelcome coincidence?
Certainly, I agree with forgiving and moving forward towards healing. But I think that it is a great shame that so little is known about this particular episode of genocide, and I do think that some more education and talk about it would be good, because we can only be horrified enough to act faster in future if we understand about the past.
To forgive, forgiveness must be asked. Asking for forgiveness means accepting responsability...
