Science is not a magic box from which we can pluck corroborating evidence to support our preconceived opinions on a topic!
But if Bush did it, doesn't that make it okay?
It's a compelling argument, Deanne. I fear that much of the scientific genius of our former president may forever go un-tapped. In the leadership vacuum left after Bush's term ended, science must again find its own way...perhaps by blindly following the methods of old? Testing falsifiable hypotheses?
