Sounds like Charlie is pleased with what Travis Thomas is doing over at linebacker as well. I'm just hoping it's just not preseason optimisim.
CW seems like the kind of coach who doesn't say optimistic things just to please the fans or instill hope. I think he definitely says exactly what is on him mind. Therefore I am taking all of the positivity coming out of camp as a good sign so far. He seems very pleased with DL and secondary, both in performance and depth.
