I'm starting to buy the "we don't know all the facts" theory. I hate people on ndnation who put it like "were you there?! has he been convicted yet!?"...I am, however, willing to give our school the benefit of the doubt that there's either more to this story (i.e. he made a joke) or that they didn't have enough to go on to punish him severely (i.e. there's nothing in dulac about when a student gets arrested for soliciting a prostitute for a blowjob).

I'm not worried about our university yet. It'll take a few more incidences for this to be a precedent, I just hate how much fuel this will add to the "Notre Dame has sold its soul for football glory" stories.

I would have also accepted 'dickhead', for similar reasons.
