BTW, we got a late start this week so we didn't gather ballots from the rest of the gang. I just compiled it myself. Starting next week, all of the writers will have a chance to weigh in.
I actually would (*gags a little*) put Alabama above Cal, only because of Cal's squeaker over Colorado St. and because the win vs. Tennessee doesn't look so impressive after Florida chainsawed through the Vols.
Otherwise, I'd say fairly accurate.
How is Texas at #4 "self explanatory"? A 21-13 win over Arkansas St., tying 1-2 TCU at the beginning of the 4th quarter, and barely beating Central Florida?
