This season is a total crapshoot. Will our O-line decide to block? If so, our season could seriously be 12-1. Without seeing us play a game, it's totally impossible to try to predict Michigan, MSU, Purdue, Washington, and Pitt.
I agree michigan's in for a down year, and could seriously be facing a .500 or worse season considering how much RRod's system is based on good quarterback play. That's really a must-win game to set the tone for the rest of the year.
Why are we still worried about losing to MSU and Purdue. That's seriously an issue. As of this year, the depth chart issues have all but disappeared. Charlie failed to recuit well along the D-line at first, and that's his fault. The o-line is still a little young, but were all good recruits, so again, that excuse it gone. If we're still losing to MSU and Purdue this next year, Charlie's in trouble.
Washington is going to suffer from what we suffered from last year. They have glaring holes in their depth chart due to pretty much exclusively trying to keep local kids in state and not doing well at even that. They seriously could be winless when they come to face us in the fall.
BC always plays us hard. I'm no more confident that we can beat them than that we could beat MSU or Purdue. Again, that's an issue that should have been resolved by now.
Agreed that SDSU, stanford, unc, pitt, navy, and syracuse should all be automatic wins. USC will be an automatic loss unless we have an explosively improved team.

UNC is supposed to be a "surprise" this season only because the rest of the ACC teams in their division are so fucking bad. So. Fucking. Bad.
Seriously, that's the logic for picking UNC to be a "surprise".
