Anything to the argument that it's easier for us to educate our football players because we demand higher admissions standards from them? Now don't get me wrong, these players don't have to be rocket surgeons to make our admissions standards, but it at least shows they are capable of making a commitment towards their education.
Like I said, our admission standards for football players are nearly identical to Michigan's. That has nothing to do with it.

Hey, I honestly didn't mean to insult anyone. English is a great degree, but I think English majors would be the first to admit that it wouldn't take a monumental effort to get one with a C average.
Or a B average. 
The only majors at ND I would blink to say ND football players simply might not have the time for are Architecture and Engineering. Even those, it can be worked out (though the level to which Weis says it can be done is exaggerated...The truth is, if you're going to be a starting star football player, you won't have the time for them).
Anything, and I mean anything else can be achieved at ND. And I agree-I have friends who have helped tutor the football players in their respective majors before, hijinks-free.
This is also, by the way, why ND winning a national championship would be so sweet. A delcaration to the country that things can be done the right way.
