Poor Ty. I'm not sure I approve of calling this Hate Week, Dan. Any anger I have over the Willingham affair is going to be directed at the media and their bigotry, not at Ty.
I have plenty of it to direct at Ty. At worst he allowed the media affair to happen; at best he encouraged it. And that's in addition to all the other harm he did us. Now, I take a lot of (probably unhealthy, but morally righteous) pleasure at watching him fail.
Still, the word hate is a bit much. I agree with Luke. Ty is hugely incompetent, yes, but at this point I'm mostly just glad he's gone. Still, I'd like to see the Irish hang a half-hundred on the Huskies this weekend.
What does the locker-room look like at halftime if the Irish are down? Do you just tell the guys to pack their sh*t and transfer to a 1-AA school if they can't beat Ty.
Can there be a special asshat category for Tyrone...like Asshat for Life (A4L)? Perhaps Asshat Emeritus(AE)? Seems like him being just another Asshat of the Week is disproportiante to his level of being an Asshat...
In case you cannot tell, I have no use for this racist piece of crap. I do not hate him...but I do wish failure to dog him the rest of his miserable life. Beating him by 50 points will not be enough. This Asshat needs to be humiliated and driven out of the coaching ranks forever. Maybe he can put that PE degree from MSU to work at some junior high or elementary school.
