Holy shit, Pete Carroll did not lead USC to a national championship in 2003! The combination of that blatant lie and the music coming out of that video make me want to stab someone.

Die in a fire pete carroll

sorry, i just wanted to shout that on top of a mountain, but i dont have a mountain, i have a key board and place that shares my hatred for this man.

Not listed on that checklist:

Lose to Oregon State
Lose to UCLA
Lose to Stanford

That's odd. Those are "accomplishments" too, aren't they?

Curious how the Schedule on the page after the intro hasn't been updated since the Stanford game...

Gravatar Well the Carroll family must be so proud that they are cleaning up in the asshat category....wait Carroll? HA! that's a girls name!

Gravatar possible nominee for next week: Seth Joyner.

On Friday's Jim Rome TV show (seriously, I was accidentally watching it), he made some slamming statements against Notre Dame and Charlie Weis...basically saying "if you're a father out there, would you send you son to play for this man? Three top ranked recruits have transferred and said that he lied to them."

And, of course...no rebuttal, no challenge, no fact checking, no corroboration. This is the big risk to not winning games right now...that this stuff gets repeated enough times that people start to believe it. Eventually, one of the 19 commits could break and go somewhere else.

Seriously, though...I wasn't really watching it...just passing by on the dial.

Gravatar When will the asshat of the YEAR be posted? Any guesses as to who that might be?

Gravatar CHARLIE WEIS

Gravatar YOU ARE CORRECT, MY FRIEND!!!!
Give the man a chicken.

Oh, and let's not forget the yawning, "what the hell's he doing out there on the sideline?" - Mini-me.

It's a carnival sideshow. All we need is the bearded lady. This is Notre Dame football? I'll retire to Bedlam.

Gravatar Note to WeisS: If you're going to be a bombastic, self-absorbed douche bag, at least win games.
