Maybe I'm crazy, but I think a hat pattern based on those urchins (is that what those bulbous things they brought back are?) would be so cool. Especially using purple yarn to match the photo of the tide pool.

I can totally get behind a 'sea urchin' hat! Panda is having so much fun--it's good to be a dog at the beach. So envious of your gorgeous weather!! Enjoy it for all of the rest of us suckers...
