That is awesome Marnie. I love the logo, too. I'm up for it if you want to include crocheters as well as knitters.

OOooo! I just came up with an idea for a project. Count me in. This is something I feel very important to get across. That you can support the troups as well as oppose war.

This is such a great idea and so important for impacting change. I love the idea of knitting scarfs and bags and sweaters with the theme. Will you also put a tee-shirt to two on cafepress?

Oh, MAN I want a bumper sticker like that! I am so piqued by all the yellow ribbons drivin around this democratic state of Massachsetts, I know they're all being patriotic, but it always feels like I'm in Bush country. The ribbons are for the troops, but I can't help but feel they're in favour of the WAR. Your peace symbol expresses my sentiments perfectly, graphically, and with flair.

I'm in too. I'm not sure yet what I would want to contribute, but I definitely am in favor of the sentiment. I know exactly what Julia is talking about - I'd love to show my support of the troops (including my sister who is now home from Iraq, thank goodness), but I don't want to send the message I support the war.

Excellent idea! I felt the exact same way about the yellow ribbons on cars too. My brother just got back from his second tour in Iraq. He'd been there from the very start of the war. He didn't agree with being over there, but he volunteered to go back the second time just so someone else wouldn't have to take his place. I really admire him for that, and I wanted to show my support for him but not the war. So this is definately something I can get behind

I am interested for sure - as others have said, it's hard to convey sometimes that you support our troops and not this (or any, really) war.

I think that is a great idea Marnie. I consider myself very patriotic and I prefer peace to war. Both of my brothers served in Iraq. One was shot and the other is still there.

Hey Marnie - I love the idea!! I have to mirror what other people have said and would love to have a way to support the troops without showing support of the war. This would be a fabulous idea. Count me in!

Thanks for supporting the troops, Marnie. There's a long list of links on the sidebar of my blog where people can also support the troops. Something for everyone.
