Careful about washing Old Navy jeans though, they tend to shrink a lot more than others do.
LOVE Bella Paquita with the mods and a camisole underneath--I shied away before because I was afraid it might be a bit too revealing but I love the look with a thin camisole underneath. Thanks for such a great pattern!

A great jean that I just discovered is the V-cut from Victorias Secret. My sister convinced me to order a pair and they are great!!

I've had stretching-out problems with Old Navy jeans, not shrinkage myself. I also find that no matter what their jeans have way more butt than I do.

Thank you for the show and tell on the lace. I'm still fighting the urge of starting a Bella Paco modification of my own, as I'm pretty much drowning in WIP:s. If I fail to resist the temptation at some point, I'll be sure to send you a picture.

Those are my favorite jeans, actually - that just below waist thing is the perfect rise for me. I agree with TheBon though - I have nearly worn a pair out from constant washings to un-stretch the dang things. And I buy the non-stretch kind!

I love Old Navy jeans, too! I haven't found that they shrink; I just wash 'em in cold and dry them on delicate.
I love the sweater and may have to make myself one....

Your sweater is beautiful, Marnie. I've been looking for the perfect jeans for years now (ever since having kids). I'll have to give Old Navy a try. I do like their surplice tops.

So I know that it's hard for all women (do men face this problem, or care?) to find jeans that fit. But does that say 2? You're so teeny (I seriously mean that as a total compliment). My jeans are several multiples of that lol Glad you found some that work for you

I LOVE my Old Navy jeans. And after lots of washing and wearing, they still fit well. Hope yours treat you nicely!
I love all your designs. They're so funky and flattering and unique. Keep it up. ^__^

Hmm, now that we've hit the unbelievably hot temperature of 50 degrees in NYC, I don't want to use the original yarn I got to make Bella P: KnitPicks' Andean Silk (55% alpaca, 23% silk and 22% merino). I'm thinking of cardiganizing it, but the lace will be tricky... What a beautiful sweater!

Whoa.
Nice breast shot!
I'm still searching for the pair of jeans for me... the low cut just doesn't work for me. I have no hips. They just slide right down which is annoying [although Joe doesn't mind]. Bella bella bella bella is soooo pretty!

That really is a beautiful sweater! You are very talented. Thank you so much for making your patterns available and for teaching technique. I made your Hooray for Me Gloves and I had a lot of fun with the double-knit technique.
