I had no idea there was a word for that particular flaw...but of course there's a word for it. Sigh. I'll take the socks, please...the camouflage will do me good.

I love the socks and the two projects you have made for your class. I voted on the poll as I would love the pattern. I am definetly going to make the socks once I finish all the knitting I am doing for my still cooking baby boy.

Thanks for publishing the pattern. I have just knitted my first pairs of socks, and I'll look forward to using this design.
About the ankles? FWIW, I think the 'fatness' is an effect of the camera angle when you try to take a photo from above. It's not you, it's the camera!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the sock pattern! I'm a new sock knitter (4 pair), and they've mostly relied on patterned yarn for interest. Time for something new!
(you also inspired me to try Annie M's corset pattern. My S.O. will thank you for that, too...)

I love your socks, hope I will be able to reproduce them for my daughers for a new year presents ( yes thats how long it will take) I hope you will post a patterns for your machine knitting garments,since I am a new machine knitter myself and constanly looking for something to try.
