I've heard that felted tweed is a dream to knit up. Let us know what you think.
Great glove!

You know how I feel about the tweed, but I thought I'd chime in on the Maratona as well - it's very fun stuff to work with. (You may want to wash a swatch, however, as knitter's review says it does not wash well - I haven't washed it - I knit and gifted.)

I love the modified Wyverns.
Do you know if anyone has knit the socks in a slightly thicker yarn? I'm thinking I might try them in my orange stripey fixation. I tend to knit loosely and knit Fixation on 2s, and the stretch would make up for the difference. I might make a size smaller than I would if I were using exact-gauge yarn.

Hi Marnie, I made your HFM gloves last year, but they turned out too big for me, so I made them for my boyfriend - in the same yarn you made yours! What a fun coincidence to see them again on your blog.

Yes, a tutorial would be great. I made these gloves (love them), but I couldn't figure out how to CO 2 in the middle of my double knit. I ended up with yarn cris-crossing in the tube where I tried CO. I ended up just using DP's to make the fingers (and yes, that is tedious!) I get comments on these gloves whenever I wear them!
