I would highly recommend the Pacific Sunwear website. They've got like 5 pages of hats with small snowboard/skateboard/surf logos. Sorry the link is so long.

Do you like the Life is Good line? They are sold at REI and other outdoor shops as well as online. They have very few choices for neutral colored hats, but the brand logo is pretty generic and they do cute stick figure logos for a variety of sports including mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, even dogs on sleds.

Or if you're into customization and want your hat to say something, you could also try Neighborhoodies. They have a store at Hollywood & Highland and they also take orders online. They can be pricey, but the quality is first rate. The hat isn't quite the standard ball cap shape, so this may not work for you.

Good luck!

That's just nasty! Try www.ABCstores.com, Island Fashions, Caps and Hats. They have some pretty low key, island boy hats. Very kewt, and not terribly expensive.

My only suggestion is ebay? Either way, good luck. And how could he compare Panda with a hat?

Hm. I see others have already reco'd Life Is Good and eBay. Katin is a huge surf apparel company with a smaller presence. If you feel like driving around, there are places in downtown Manhattan; the Spyder shop on PCH and Artesia in Hermosa; the Billabong shop on Pier going toward the beach in Hermosa again. Then there's that store in Santa Monica on Main, I forget what it's called but there are some good things in there. Good luck!

Heh, it reminds me of my ancient trainers. You can tell what colour socks I'm wearing through them. I really should get some new ones...

I sooo feel you on this one. Not that I'm suggesting it or anything, but since I do the laundry I finally started throwing out every socks of my bf's that had a hole in it. He has a whole grocery bag full of nice new ones but he won't use them! He will when he runs out though hahaha. I show no mercy

My husband has an issue with hats, too. I have bought him several new ones, but they sit up too high or have some odd roundness to it he doesn't like. Or, he just doesn't like the logo. I can never win.
However, if that hat was in my house I would have "accidently" washed it in bleech and probably would have swept it up with the garbage...oops

Have you tried checking ebay? You may even be able to find the exact hat there with some luck!
