I'm insanely jealous that you got to take a class with Annie. It's pathetic that I live less than two hours from her and I STILL haven't managed to make it to a class!! Your lace looks fabulous, too

what needles are you using in those pictures? I like that the cable is as wide as the needle. If I am viewing it correctly.

I didn't even realize that she traveled so much to teach...I'm going to keep an eye on the classes page, I'd love to learn combination knitting, cabling without a needle, and her colorwork class. Looks like fun!

I took a class with Annie back in January and absolutely loved it. Other than just picking up needles to learn to knit, it was probably the biggest influence on my knitting. Fantastic class.

I really want to try knitting with wire, but I dunno about using it with yarn. I mean, how would you wash it?? Any idea what gauge wire you were working with? It looks pretty fine.
And with a little vehicle like that, I could take a dog riding with me. That would be fun!

I know what you mean, I love her work, and her blog. I have only experienced her generosity from afar, but I know she would be much more wonderful in person. I too hope to take some of her classes someday.
