I like the bottom left best. the top stripe looks a bit busy, but I would probably translate better full size or lower contrast. JMO. Love your blog BTW - It's a daily read for me!

Have to agree with everyone else so far.. the bottom. Seems it would be slimming with the darker colors around the waist shaping, and who can argue with fewer color changes and less of a need to carry the unused colors up the side?

Also, love the schematics. What software program do you use to help you design?

I see the green stripe. I'm a detail freak, so I love the little things.

The bottom one is my pick as well. The top one would be okay if the colors weren't too contrasty. But you work with what you have. BTW, there's a place in Santa Monica that sells a lot of Maratona, in case you're interested.

I like the top one better. The stripe pattern on the bottom immediately made me think 1980s. And because of the placement of the stripes only around the bust it could create a strange effect on your figure. I would go with the wide turtleneck over the cowl; stripes look good with a structured neckline.

I've very excited that the Deciduos pattern will be released soon, I absolutely love it! It will be a struggle to hold back from wanting to knit it right away though - probably best to wait until spring, so many long months away...

i think which pattern you choose depends on where you want to wear it. my first instinct was the top one because it seemed more young and fun looking. the bottom one seems more serious and makes me thing of something to wear to work. but i'm sure whichever you choose will look nice, because your stuff is always beautiful!
