I've been spinning alot too lately. I love those colors. I am big on lots of color. I usually start to get bored fast if I'm spinning something without color or character. I haven't done any spinning on drop spindles. I have 3 wheels though! Happy spinning and knitting....

You are just a spinning machine. The only spinning I've done recently is on my bike. Although I miss LA, it has been cool to ride with my girls - woo hoo! Still, all this fiber-spinning is inspiring. I'll have to get out my bfl and give it another go in the next few days. I'm glad you enjoyed the roving I got you so much. Janel's stuff is pretty special.
I'm also glad to hear Leo is downtown. M will be as well, so perhaps we'll all hit the Bonaventure on a Friday night.

Marnie, great spinning! You've also convinced me to get a Golding spindle (or two???), because my pricey Greensleeves "Katherine's Cup" is driving me crazy.
I ordered 6 oz of white Merino top from Halcyon, to practice on. I plan to dye the yarn, once spun. I just couldn't seen practicing on my chameleon colorways Merino/tencel top as of yet.
Sravana, off to the telephone to call for her Goldring!

That's awesome that you and Leo get to ride in to work together and hang out in the evening after work. You have been doing a lot of spinning. I like the blue and green combo, but love the winey vineyard combo, that's my fave.

Great yarn! I always feel so klutzy with hand spindles that I gave up pretty quickly and ended up with a wheel. I like the colors you chose.

They all look great! Ahh, lighter spindle thinner yarn. Why didn't I think of that? One more thing on my Christmas list
