Give him a huge noogie on his head and tell him I said, "Good job, scooter!"
He went through Ranger school 1 1/2 times and was a drop on the last day. An RI had set off an arti-sim in close enough proximity to him to blast up his arm in Florida. He was settled on not saying anything about it when another RI told him and one other student that 'they'd better report the RI that had done it'. So they were shuffled in to file a report and wouldn't you know it, the reported RI got a slap on the wrist and carried on to 'no-go' Husband.
He was gone five months for that and he would have recycled and kept going if he hadn't had me waiting for him alone in GA. As soon as he gets the opportunity to go back, he will.
Ranger school is a no-shit tough school, but they will drop a student if they think their eyes are spaced too close together.
So, no, he is not tabbed, but yes, he has the experience.
My pride extends to him as well, you can tell him I said so. Love
