If Todzilla's mom has a problem with you telling her kid to 'knock it off' in a firm voice, its her problem isn't it. Likely, Todzilla's mom suffers from the delusion that 'she's so cute and just too young to discipline right now.' I say to that, HORSEHOCKEY!

Watching other parents nurturing the future criminal population is always a morbidly facinating way to pass the time. Its a little like watching a trainwreck I think.

$\"Gravatar\"$ Leadership 101 combined with the forgotten legality of swinging the Mother's Axe: Tell the spawner of the troglodyte that her child's behavior is not acceptable and that if she doesn't try to control her, all with a pleasant smile that doesn't quite reach your eyes.

Then verbally call her kid out when she crosses the line. People will look at you because you stepped out of the social norm, but the troglodyte will be faced with parental guidance, which may not go so well since she's not used to it, but you will embarrass her mother since you'll be highlighting her failure to parent in front of everyone. Hopefully that will motivate her to mother little troggy and avoid further embarrassment or she'll avoid the gym, either way, problem solved.

Then a few the other mothers who looked at you,shocked, will probably tell you how glad they are you said something. this is not needed for one to feel good about 'doing the right thing' but is always nice.

There's also the gym management that you can talk to about inappropriate behavior in their facility.

If people don't get called on their shit, they'll just keep doing it.

One woman I once knew called it being 'the necessary bitch'. She was far from being a bitch. I don't think anyone would ever call her a bitch, but she knew how to stand up for herself and she could do it tactfully with strength.

$\"Gravatar\"$ Let's see...evil child being given rein to run around and terrorize other children and grown women watching it happen....there is a failure somewhere and YOU, young missy, failed too. You step in, tell the child she is NOT allowed to treat other children that way, especially YOURS, and you make sure her mother knows that also. You have just as much right there as those two do.
