Thanks for the support Blaez, but don't go holding your breath. All I've done so far is given myself permission to pursue a dream. Other than that I’m as green as it gets.
But as Jean says, you never know until you try.
On a more humble note: there are a great many talented writers out there, especially in this strange blogosphere that I can, and do, learn a lot from. Honestly now that I’ve jumped out and posted my excitement I feel a little shy about it. But who cares? It feels good to have a goal in life and I will take all of the advice and criticism that would come my way. Honestly the best critic I could have ever asked for is no longer around to set me straight, make fun of my grammar and push me to be better. But the fact that dear ol’ dad thought I could do it is enough for me.
Enough about that.

I've never known him as 'Daddy'. It's weird to have him referred to as such. But a driving force? Indeed.
i'm a little late in responding to your response... its been a crazy few weeks.
i've never known my father as anything but Daddy. as he raised me by himself. but that's a sob story for another day.
but i am happy that your own has a great influence in your life as well. if only everyone could be so lucky to have great fathers.
