I look at the kids who have the odds stacked against them. I clench my fist to shade it at God and can't come up with the appropriate words to accompany such a futile action.
Kids like Zach, if they are survivors, will hang onto whatever flotsom or jetsom the shipwreck of their life floats near them. The warmth and safety you gave him surely has to stand out. I doubt that he's forgotten that, if he wants to live.
