Gravatar One question - What is stopping you from being 3-D again? Just do it!! Baby steps here. Since you tagged me to do that 20 question thing, I realized that I have also lost my inner child and boy, am I letting her out again!!! She had so much more fun than me.

Gravatar Buddess, I think I've forgotten how. Being a single mom, taking responsibility, dealing with both home and work lives (2 full-time jobs!?) - it all cuts into the time that could be spent on joy. Baby steps - yes, that's how it's going to have to be.

Starting with the bike...

Gravatar What an excellent post. It's almost as if you've stolen these thoughts directly from my brain...but you're able to express them more eloquently than I would've been able to. Just yesterday I started exercising - determined to get into good enough shape over the winter to climb a mountain next summer. I want life back.

And I think getting a bike is a great start!

Gravatar was that a Harley?

Gravatar Kari, life these days has worn a lot of us down to a single dimension. I'm glad you're making a start toward new things!

Kel - if only.... there's a Harley shop in Cape Town that we pass on the way to my brother's, and we drool every time.

Gravatar Michelle, don't be so hard on yourself. The important thing is to respond to this wisdom by taking action. What is curious to you? If you could describe the kind of impact you'd like to have throughout your life, what would that be? Shift your attention from the difficiency to the opportunity. Take the initiative and go for it. You'll find that you'll be living a 4-D experience before you know it.

Gravatar Thanks Ed! I appreciate your advice. I think I may have lost the "real me" somewhere along the road, but I'm picking up little pieces and putting them back into the person I know I still am, somewhere inside.
