Gravatar I hear you. I especially hate them in baked goods--ugh. But I'm going to try a loaf for my raisin-loving friends. I actually think they might add extra moistness and sweetness to this loaf. But, the cake was deliciously addictive without.


Gravatar I'll bet it would be tasty with dried currants, cherries, cranberries or anything that would match the flavor profile of the wine you're drinking/baking with. And they're way better than raisins!
