I like blue and black and so I don't associate them with being depressed. I think brown is depessing.
Bummer 'bout the job interview. And as far as lying on the couch thinking randomly is pretty normal for me. Sometimes I need to do that.
Things happen for a reason.... so don't worry about that job... a better one will surely come along.
As for the colors... F- them... or "they" (whom ever decided on the color/moods). I say... make up your own color pallet and moods and live by it.
the more you try to fight the feelings that lie inside of you, the more they will consume you. go with whatever you're feeling at that time. it will release you sooner than you think, and your mind will thank you. (you may even get a moment of enlightenment out of the experience).

Are we related? lol. What you described is exactly how I was on Tuesday night. I don't know what puts me through spells either but like you I seem to snap out of it as quickly as I find myself in it.
And like someone else said, things happen for a reason. I truly believe that even though I have gone through hell and back in my life. A better job will come along. This one wasn't meant to be.

God, how annoying about the interview. You've made so many positive steps in your job search, though, that I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the right one comes along.
Funny, I never associate feeling gloomy with black or blue. For me, the colour of utter misery is grey.
Do you know these people offering advice, or did they just stumble on your blog like me? If they are random surfers, allow me to offer a piece of advice (even if it defines irony):
Don't take advice from random posters. 
Work it out with friends, family, or professionals. Sounds like you're on the right track.
Also, do you shoot all the photography on this site? If so, you're exceptional. Great blog!
I hate those periods of feeling blue. I don't know why so many bad things are black, however I don't associate either colour neccessarily with gloom. I hope you're having a nice time with your friend. I'll give you a call at the weekend
Blue/Black - darkness --> deep hole --> sadness
Red - is the colour of blood. Your blood boils when you are angry, and your face turns a similar color does it not? (maybe that's just me lol)
Yellow - i have no freaking idea. perhaps because it's the colour of the sun and that signifies brightness?
pink - now this one boggles my mind too.
i'm sorry to hear about the job. at least you'll be able to talk to your friend about how awful that "hell-hole" was.
when things aren't looking so good, i usually like going for a good jog...perhaps that's why i get into such good shape when I'm depressed. lol
I just want to tell you i'm thinking about you. I am so sorry you have to go through this.
Atleast the company called ahead of time to tell you not to come and you didn't get there first! There will be better opportunities out there for you.
Glad you had lunch with a friend that can relate. Sometimes a good bitch session is exactly what one needs.
