Get up some morning and look out your window. Whether you see fields, sea, mountains, buildings, road, cars - where did it all come from? An accident in the sky? When people say they have faith it isn't some blind rubbish where they believe with no reason to. If you pray - and really expect to see something happen - it does. You sound really unhappy. I'm not saying Christianity makes the world bliss and wonderful and amazing. It doesn't. But it does give purpose, meaning and hope for something better. What's wrong with that? As for Jesus rap - not my thing either. And I agree - some of the songs can be sappy. But some are really inspirational and awesome. Maybe that's just me.

Christianity does give people purpose I'll give you that. But it's more because of this false sense of faith than anything. Most people need to believe in some type of higher power. It makes life easier to deal with.
