Anyway, I'd have to disagree about true hip-hop dance. You're forgetting where the roots are, man. Breaking is definitely one of the biggest and most well-known elements of Hip-hop. But when you say Breaking you aren't just saying B-boy. We're talking about Popping and Locking (YES PEOPLE THEY ARE TWO SEPARATE THINGS). No fucking such thing as Pop-Locking, unless it's a new way to break into cars, or it's a new cereal.
Recognize that man. Unfortunately, the nature of the beast is Evolution. After popping, locking, and b-boying came into play. People started intermingling and fucking with jazz and modern dance, creating some awkward hybrid that actually looks good and is marketable. Don't hate the dance, hate those who exploited it.
