El Tonayense was the taco truck of choice some years ago... it used to be on Harrison (in the upper teens or low 20's?) but not sure where it is nowadays...
Hey I hear you on the rice OD but El Farolito off Alabama is still the joint and > the Mission spot. Ran past one in Concord (?!?) but didn't have a chance to try it.
(Off topic: Pork Pibil at El Lindo Yucatan on 16th and Valencia... yo that's that ish!)

WORD THE FUCK UP.
Glad to see someone besides myself who isn't all up on the burritos. Truth be told I think burritos are wack. Period.
You want some real shit get a muther fucking taco and no, not that soggy ass Super Taco. Im talking simple - two tortillas, a grip of mean, cilantro, cebolla and some hot sauce none of that faggot ass pico de gallo. That's some white people shit..pico de gallo.
Or if you are really, real get with the mutherfucking Torta oh yeah and Carne Asada is for bitches.
Al Pastor
Carnitas
Buche
CHORIZO - chorizo tacos are fucking king.
Fish battered of fucking course
And I am with you on the rice...fuck that. Get that shit on the side if you want it. It has no place in my burrito or taco or torta. It's a goddamned side.
Taco trucks of note
- El Toyanse 16th & Harrison
- Tacos San Buenas 4th and Townsend
For me the real OG shit is on the corner of like 21st and Florida. I don't remember the name but there is only a window its called
"chanchanilla's" or some shit and its fucking tight. they serve your shit on a piece of newspaper and they have a sign that reads "we dont have forks"

shit Toyanse is up around 19th, I've been hitting them up lately since I've been working around that area lately.
Infront of best buy there is a truck run by some cubans, they got some good shit. I had a couple tostadas last time and the cheese was a little suspect but their burritos didn't fail me.
last week I also hit up Aguila De Oro down on 3rd. It's a few blocks for the 3rd street liquor store so I was tempted to get me a What it do to wash down my pollo asado but decided getting drunk while working wasn't swift.
