I started to read this book but it seemed to get repetitive once he made his point. I will finish it, though. Mythology loses its value when taken literally.

I agree completely with the religion as ridiculous argument. But I gotta say that Sam Harris seems pretty ridiculous himself. Some of his intolerance and hypocrisy come through in this talk, but this AlterNet article does a good job of elaborating on it:
The best-selling author of "The End of Faith" may argue against Christianity, but he is also supportive of phenomena such as reincarnation and ESP, and calls for "compassionately killing" the "Muslim hordes."

read christopher hitchens' new book. it's way awesomer than sam harris or richard dawkins repetitive ass books.
