Don't forget to thank him for lowering the bar of "conservative" to pave the way for McCain. And the outstanding job he's done controlling illegal immigration. The overall size of government (size matters!) and his tacit support of the terrorist organization Hammas.

Bush is not a conservative any longer. He's largely abandoned the principals that got him elected.

My thanks to Bush are good for the remainder of his his term I think. The BDS we see coming mainly from the Left is over the top, and tends to give aid and comfort to the enemy.

In other words, Bush is CIC for our troops who are deployed in harm's way in Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course people can thoughtfully disagree with his policy and they should express those sentiments; but the way I see the worst of the BDS sorts expressing their hatred for Bush is anything but thoughtful and measured.

I've nothing but sheer derision for those sorts.
